-----------------------MINUTES ---------------------------
Mike LaBonte conducted the meeting.

Call for IBIS related patent disclosures:

- None

Call for opens:

Review of previous meeting minutes:

Minutes from the January 22 meeting were not yet available for review.

ARs:

- Lance Wang to write BUG for C_comp_pullup on Input* Model_type warning.
  - Lance reported that some progress has been made, and it should be ready for the next meeting.

- Lance Wang to prepare testcase for 32 bit Windows ibischk6 problem.
  - Lance asked to discuss this. No testcase should be needed.

New IBISCHK bugs:
Lance Wang said a 32 bit Windows program can run on 64 bit Windows. There are separate
system DLLs such as kernel32.dll for those. On a 32 bit Windows XP system kernel32.dll
is not found, but kernel.dll is found. Mike LaBonte described what he had thought the
problem was, which was related to a Windows function to suppress error dialogs for DLLs
that fail to load. Lance said support for 32 bit DLLs seemed better on older systems,
and that Linux does not seem to have the problem. Mike asked if we should file a bug.
Lance suggested posting information on our website to inform compilation of DLLs,
but no filing a bug report.

AR: Lance Wang write up description of IBISCHK6 Windows compatibility issues.

Code signing:
Michael Mirmak described the warning that appears when downloading IBISCHK using
Microsoft browsers, which is due to lack of code signing. His company is requiring
code signing and MD5 checksums. Mike LaBonte said a code signing certificate could
be secured for $85 per year, but SAE might have to be the entity to obtain it because
IBIS is not incorporated. Michael asked if the certificate would have other uses.
Mike wondered if the same certificate could be used for Linux. Mike demonstrated the
download problem. Lang Wang asked if SAE could help with code signing. Bob Ross asked
if they would get the certificate as SAE or as IBIS. Mike felt it would have to be SAE.
He asked if code signing might have other risks. Michael knew of none.

AR: Mike LaBonte to contact SAE about code signing

IBISCHK615 parser development:
Bob Ross said that Atul has not yet been paid for the IBISCHK 6.1.5 work. We are past
the 30 day terms. Bob will contact SAE about payment.

IBISCHK700 parser development:
Bob suggested reviewing the contract again. We looked at the IBISCHK700 draft 14
document. Michael Mirmak asked if we had any provisions about code usage rights.
For example, does the agreement preclude use of any GPL code? Mike LaBonte agreed we
should have that, noting that such preclusions have become common in software companies.
He believed that currently there is no such code, IBISCHK is all original code.

AR: Mike to contact SAE about language for GPL restrictions.

Bob Ross moved to adjourn. Lance Wang seconded. Without objection the meeting ended.

Meeting ended: 12:03 ET
